Paul Kalkbrenner will perform in Warsaw as part of the WAV.FORMS series
Electronic music lovers will have a unique opportunity to experience a live performance by one of the greatest talents of the techno scene - Paul Kalkbrenner. This outstanding Berlin artist will perform on August 2, 2024 on the Progresja Summer Stage as part of the WAV.FORMS series organized by FKP Scorpio Poland.
Paul Kalkbrenner is not only a DJ and producer, but also a talented actor who played the main role in the cult German film "Berlin Calling". The film brought Paul Kalkbrenner international fame, and its soundtrack achieved platinum status, with the single "Sky and Sand" breaking records on the German charts. After splitting from Bpitch Control, he founded his own label, Paul Kalkbrenner Musik, releasing further successful albums, including "Icke Wieder" and "Guten Tag". Steadfast in exploring new sounds, he played in front of the Brandenburg Gate and then signed a contract with Sony Music International/Columbia, preparing the album "7", where he worked with vocals for the first time since "Sky and Sand". His eighth album, "Parts Of Life", released a decade after "Berlin Calling", reflects the influence of the birth of techno in Berlin, while being a personal work full of raw sounds and joy, with cover art by Paul's uncle, Paul Eisel.
